Moving to your new Skye at Holland condo is an exciting event, but don’t forget about the essentials you need once you set foot in the place. There are several essential items that can make a house instantly livable in different areas of the condo unit.
In the Kitchen
First, you’ll need something that can warm or heat up food without gas, which means an induction cooker, microwave, and pots and pans. Also, basic utensils, plates, and a glass, so you can eat. Ready a trash can with liners for efficient waste disposal.
The Bathroom
The bathroom has to be stocked with toiletries such as toothpaste and toothbrush, shampoo and soap, and toilet paper. You will need a trash can as well, and a floor mat to reduce the chances of slipping and accidents. This is a must if your family has small children.
For the Living Area
Your living area or living room must be conducive for rest, which means basic seating and lighting. Install LED bulbs so you can see at night. A chair or sofa will make it livable. For comfort, you can put in a fan for air circulation, along with an open window if the outside is cool enough.
Cleaning Items
Even if the place is new, there will be dust and dirt after a few days. That said, you should prepare in advance and have some sponges, a mop, a broom, and a dustpan ready. Upgrade to a robot vacuum so you can unpack while letting the gadget do its thing.
For Sleeping
Sleep is an essential part of moving- you’ll need all the rest and quality sleep you can get. A bed or mattress, coupled with bedding such as a blanket and pillows so you can retire in comfort at the end of the day.
