A clean house provides many benefits to the inhabitants, including better health and well-being. It’s so nice to live in a place free of dust and dirt, and you can become more productive while working from home. You can develop a habit of keeping things neat with these five simple tips.
Zone Cleaning
Zone cleaning is the process of tackling one area or room at a time. It’s particularly effective in smaller spaces, such as the condo in The Sen. You don’t have to invest too much time, and you can get more done in a pinch. Start with the busiest room or area first and move on to the next.
Don’t Forget the Dishes
Develop a habit of putting away and cleaning the dishes after every meal. It solves procrastination, which can extend to other parts of your life. This way, you won’t have to think about doing the chore the next day, and you’ll save a significant amount of time.
Put Things Away After Use
Your parents and teachers tell you to put away your toys and things after you’re done with them, and it’s a valuable lesson we should take to heart. It only takes a few minutes to put the items back where they belong, and the house will be neater afterward.
A Few Minutes of Organizing/Decluttering
Pick things up and either throw them into the bin (if you don’t need them anymore) or back in their original storage area. This works well even if you’re busy and only have a spare minute or two.
Clean As You Go
Lastly, avoid nasty smells and rotting food from the kitchen and dining area by practicing a ‘clean as you go’ policy. Whenever you’re finished eating, you should pick up the dirty dishes and put them in the sink, and other waste in the bin.
